Surprise! It’s a wedding video!

My good friend Cathy really wanted her niece Danielle to have a wedding video but it just wasn’t in the budget. So she had a great idea to have several guests attending the bridal shower, to chip in for the video as their gift! And viola….there I was.

October 18th was such a spectacular, perfect fall day with plenty of sunshine and just enough chill in the air to know it was fall. I couldn’t imagine not being there to document  such a wonderful occasion.

Danielle and Anthony are high school sweethearts, who made it through college, grad school, and living with her grandmother to get to this day – which was well worth the wait! The bride was absolutely glowing as her dad walked her down the very long aisle of St. Mary’s Catholic church in Port Jervis.  After the ceremony, the bride and groom and bridal party rode across the river the Riverview Inn in Matamoras, PA in vintage cars from the 50’s. We had great photo opportunities down by the Delaware with the vintage cars, pumpkins, fall leaves, etc…picture perfect!

As usual, the hospitality at the Riverview was outstanding. It is the only venue that I’ve worked at where they serve the vendors their dinner right after the bride and groom.  This is great because while the rest of the guests are eating, we can sneak away to get interviews with the couple, or just be ready for action as soon as dinner is over. Thanks Judy for noticing the merits of this practice!

The party was rocking with DJ Kenny of Sound Wizards getting everyone up on the dance floor, including the bride, who just got her cast off of her broken foot 3 days before the wedding!  It didn’t seen to bother her at all as I think she danced every dance (with her new husband right by her side).

It was truly my pleasure to be there to for two people who are the definition of “Meant to be”! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Trochiano!

Thank you so much Jen! Anthony and I had the time of our lives and we are so glad that you were a part of it. When it comes to wedding gifts, a video is as good as it gets. Memories last a lifetime! Thank you so much again and we can’t wait to see the video!
